We have been waiting on 'Die Hard' Again & 'Smashed 'Get autumnDirector James Ponsoldt Smashed brought his film to Sundance in 2012, and my glowing review could not say enough nice things about the impressive performance by Mary Elizabeth Winstead. The film was Sony Pictures Classics Sony Pictures Classics in February, but we've been waiting to hear if it could finally in theaters. Fortunately Winstead even tweeted today, 'Update: Smashed will coming cinemas October 12th! 'The film follows an alcoholic couple who far too often too often . But when you recognize Kate , as this dramatically affects their lives and decides sober, it creates problems with her husband , and she struggles to stay on the wagon. - Of Winstead performance I wrote, 'Winstead is one of the best drunks the big screen since Dudley Moore in Arthur grace, and it is her captivating, fun-loving personality that makes her fall from grace that much more suffering. 'The film also has great support revolutions of Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally and Octavia Spencer. This is an indie that deserves some Oscar love when awards season rolls around. Independent Spirit Awards Independent Spirit Awards are all over this. Hopefully we will be as soon a trailer for Smashed have stay tuned.
